Spotlight

MacOS's native Application Launcher. Uses ⌘ + Space as the default hotkey.

Disabling Spotlight

Its possible to effectively replace Spotlight with any other tool by:

1. Disabling the Spotlight shortcut

   System Settings → Keyboard → Keyboard Shortcuts... → Spotlight → disable Show Spotlight Search.

2. Remapping the new tool to the same ⌘ + Space shortcut.
